It's been a hot one today, it got up to 91 this afternoon but the 10% humidity makes it tolerable.
Because of the heat I didn't do much today. I caught up on a little housecleaning this morning and later I put my homemade foam seat on the motorcycle for a few minutes just to test it and see how it felt and since it feels a lot more comfortable than the seat that came with the Beta 250. Now I can shape it to fit, cover it, and it will be good to go, a little funny looking but good to go nonetheless.
The folks that work here at the Park give tours of the old Oliver Lee ranch house and I'm going to take one tomorrow afternoon. Unfortunately it's at 3 o'clock which is probably the hottest part of the day so it might end up being a pretty short tour.
Since it's the weekend and there's a lot of people running around I've been kind of laying low and not doing much of anything but this coming week I hope to get out and start visiting a few places, there's some museums in Alamogordo and of course the White Sands National Monument which will be free with my geezer pass. If I had known this geezer pass was going to be such a good deal I would've become a geezer years ago.
