I moved this morning over to the Ben Avery's rifle range where they have dry camping. I haven't checked in yet because the office that handles campers is closed on weekends, so I was just told to pick a spot and check in Monday morning.
Living over here will take some getting used to because this place is locked up at night. All of the ranges on this side of Ben Avery's including the RV Park are behind a locked gate. Those of us staying at the RV Park are given the gate code so we can come and go but I'm not checked in so I don't have the code. There are four or five other RVs here but none of them are very close to me, which is my fault because I picked a spot kind of far away from the other RV's because I was looking forward to being off by myself after being packed in like sardines over at the trap range. I guess being locked in will be fine for one night as long as I don't get into a kerfuffle with a rattlesnake. theboondork

Sounds nice. What are you shooting? Reloading too?

Nice to hear from you Rob. Lately all I've been shooting is my little Ruger 1022. The smallbore range is right down the street from me so that makes it very convenient for me to shoot a .22 whenever I feel like it. The downside of that is every round of .22 is precious nowadays and I can't go burning up a brick like I used to.
