My camping site at Chatfield reservoir state Park Denver, Colorado
It looks like my summer full timing has come to a close and I am now officially starting my winter full timing, Although you couldn't tell it by the weather as it must be in the 70s today, But after finishing an odd and end this morning I hitched up the Arctic Fox and started the long and arduous drive to Chatfield state Park and safely pulled into my camping spot 15 minutes later.
I guess you could say that this three mile drive was just a symbolic start to my winter camping season because I can almost see my daughter's house from here, and the only reason I stopped here overnight was to dump my tanks, but just getting hitched up and getting on the road again gave me that sense of adventure, and a new beginning that I always get when I'm going somewhere even if somewhere is only over the next hill.
I suppose I should consider myself lucky because I enjoy getting to a new place just as much as I enjoy leaving it, and maybe that's what keeps some folks like me living in an RV.
A beautiful autumn day at Chatfield Reservoir state Park Denver, Colorado
