Nice view from up there. Bit of a hike to get to the fishing. Still a bad amount of wind here today. The water in the bay has been very rough. Many folks have cleared out of the park in the last three days headed mostly for Wisconsin. Seems early to head that far north so soon.

I never considered walking down there, I figured it would just be a good cast. I don't think I could get that far with a fly rod but a spinner shouldn't be a problem. And the best part is by the time you reel the fish back up you don't have to scale it.

April used to be fine for heading north (parks here in Minnesota traditionally turn on their water April 15th) but we had snow the last few days so the ground in the nature preserve across the street from us is, once again, snow covered. If I was still snowbirding I would be sitting in Texas wailing, "I want to go home!"

My daughter in Denver told me they got some snow a few days ago. And things like that are the reason that I don't even think about heading back to Denver until the middle of May.

After nearly 12 years in my little Fox the thought of having to put up with a regular house, apartment, condo type life is rather repulsive to me.

Yeah I feel the same way. It seems like when you settle into one spot and put down roots it's easy for problems to find you. And the next thing you know you've got stress, worries, and an address the IRS can find.

Good to know you're still there and working hard, somebody has to take up the slack for me not working.

To be fair to my work, it's only been part of what's been keeping me busy - the other part is just my personal life. Most of it has been good and fun, so it's been great, but I haven't had much time to breath between work, life, and getting the RV ready.

When I had my four 6 volt lead acid batteries in the front compartment I put them in an ice chest that fit them perfectly. Reason being it was easier to safely tie down an ice chest than four batteries to keep them from moving and to hold them in place during an accident. I also felt that the ice chest would contain any acid coming out, and allowed me to vent the fumes to the outside instead of around all my electronic equipment in the front storage compartment. I also believed the ice chest would help insulate them from harsh temperatures.

The YouTubers are coming off the road for different reasons, such as health and being harassed (Caravan Carolyn) and wanting a home base to work out of (A Streamin Life). I'm sure it's different for everyone who makes the decision to stop or be more part-time.

From what little I know of YouTubers it appears to me that if you open your whole life up to everyone on the Internet especially with something as personal as a video someone is going to attack you for one reason or another I would think it wouldn't be for the thin-skinned.
