I got to the Benson Arizona Escapees RV Park a little before lunch and checked into their boondocking area for a week. This should give me some time to do some things I've been putting off, such as sending Christmas packages, ordering some things off Amazon, doing laundry and catching up on some maintenance for the Arctic Fox.
I'm finally in a place that's warm, or maybe I should say comfortable. The temperature is only 60° at the moment but I'm perfectly comfortable walking around outside in a T-shirt, and the humidity is not even at desert levels yet, it's 35%. In Deming the temperatures were often in the mid-50s in the daytime but the humidity was almost 100% because of all the rain and I was freezing wearing what nowadays passes for my coat. The weather forecast calls for more nice weather while I'm here so I shouldn't have any excuses for not accomplishing things that need to get done. I shouldn't, but that doesn't mean I won't.
I'm finally in a place that's warm enough to support a plethora of cactus, and a plethora is even more than a bunch.
