I'm starting to see more and more yellow leaves around the neighborhood, Fall comes early when you're a mile high. The daytime temperatures are a little bit lower, and night times are almost chilly. I love the Fall, the cool weather makes me want to get outside and do something, or get on the Internet and watch somebody else doing something... Which requires a lot less effort on my part .

There's only a little more than one week left in Colorado's tourist season. It will be interesting to see what's going to happen since many schools aren't opening up. Maybe a lot of tourists won't be going home just yet. I hope that's not the case, but in these strange times, one never knows.

I'm hoping I can take a mini-vacation into the mountains when the leaves are changing. When the leaves change is highly dependent upon the weather and the altitude, So there's a lot of guessing and a certain amount of luck involved.

It also gets rather crowded in the mountains about that time of year. Still, experience has taught me that the leaf peepers are mostly locals. They usually do their peeping on the weekends, so if I  run around during the weekdays and lay low on the weekends, I should be able to avoid the crowds. But there again this isn't an ordinary year so maybe my past experience will be useful, or perhaps not.
