I got my drivers license in the mail the other day, it got here quicker than I thought it would. It's a completely different license than I had before they've done a lot to it so it's hard to counterfeit. One thing they've done is make the picture look uglier than before, drivers license pictures are well known for being pretty bad but this one sets a new standard. Now I not only look terrible but I also look ghostly. This license is only good for five years I guess I'm too old to be trusted with a 10 year license like I had before.
It's starting to get hot in Pueblo and I need to get up into the mountains where it's cooler but I still have about 11 days left on my hitch at Haggard's RV Park so I guess I'll have to get used to some heat.
I'm still waiting for my motorcycle carry rack to be finished. Now that the motorcycle is sitting outside I'm kind of stuck until the rack is finished since I have no way of carrying the motorcycle anywhere. I'm also still waiting on paperwork from the government to get my motorcycle tag, and that will involve a trip to Florence to the motorcycle dealer to pick it up, and then a trip to Denver to get my tag. All of that means I can't get too far from the flatlands so when I head for the mountains I'll probably stay in the county where I used to live that way I won't be too far from Florence or Denver.
Me and the cat are sort of getting along despite the fact that for some reason Litterfoot insists on getting up before the sun comes up. I on the other hand like to wait for the sun to hit the trailer and start warming it up a little bit before I get out of bed. But it's hard to argue with a cat that leaps off the floor and lands on your face at 5:30 in the morning. So far the cat is winning.
