the pics of Como are mostly used they've all been posted and thoroughly perused, what few are left I'll save for a day when pics are scarce and I've little to say. Mountains around Como Colorado.

With cataract surgery behind me from last December, I feel experienced enough to highly recommend that you get it done especially if night vision is a trouble like you say it is. I was not really having any night trouble yet I thought but when it was gone from the surgery I could see that I had been very troubled. So next year while you are in Colorado it would be a good thing to get it done. The surgery and recovery is normally about six- eight weeks total for both eyes and is very easy. So easy that nobody even offered any sympathy to me.

Thank you Barney, I remember when you went through the surgery, and was glad to hear everything worked out okay. I know I need to get it done so I will probably do it next summer. I'll definitely need to get it done here so I can get help from my family if I need it. I guess the only reason I haven't done it already is it's been more of an annoyance than a problem because I never looked at not wanting to drive at night as as a handicap.

When you hear me complain about my eyesight, it is not about any of my cataract surgery. All of that went just wonderful. It is about the surgery work on my right eye injury in Aug of 2022 that nearly knocked the eye out of my eye socket. It has been the troubles with my eyesight and still is. The cataract surgery of the right eye went just fine with no extra troubles.

It seems like everybody's getting cataract surgery now, I guess that means were all about that same age. Makes me wonder what people did before all of this fancy eye surgery, there must have been a lot of half blind people walking around, I guess they were lucky there horse knew the way home.

I had cataract surgery on both eyes last fall. It improved my vision to the point where I only need reading glasses. I too don't drive and night unless it very important to do so. The glare of the lights on the new cars is disrupting and the lack of courtesy dimming headlights is common.

Thank you for the testimonial Larry, I've heard that cataract surgery is the most common surgery performed in this country, and from all the nice folks that have contacted me, it also sounds like the safest, and the most life-changing.

I had cataract surgery a few years ago. My wife had the cataract surgery a few years later. I am now 81 and am still seeing better than 20-20.

I had my eyes set for near vision because I spend more time looking at small screens than I do looking distant. (Dave does all my driving nowadays.) Also, I've worn glasses for 50+ years so I doubt I'd recognize myself in the mirror without them. I was surprised at how many yellow things were actually white.

I too have been wearing glasses since I was 13 years old Linda, so I seriously doubt anyone would know me without glasses. I've also had a mustache since I was 19, it was a small one, but it was all I could get away with in the Air Force. I tell people all the time that if I shaved, and took off my glasses no one alive would recognize me.
