I wouldn't want to get those tiny blossoms near my fingernail to measure them. They are well protected.

Thank you Judith. Yeah, there's not many things in the desert that you want anywhere near you. It's said, "everything in the desert either stings, stabs, or sticks." And that's pretty much true. But, on the other hand, mosquitoes and fire ants have brought me more misery than anything the desert has offered, and thankfully I seldom see a mosquito, and have never seen a fire ant while running around in the desert.

Probably rust deposits on the burner. I use a can of pressurized air to blow the stuff off the burner. Could be a spider also. What refer do you have? I had a problem with my Norcold randomly shutting down. It is over 20 yrs old. I installed a ARP Fridge Defend https://www.arprv.com/products.php

Thank you for that information Larry. My fridge is also a Norcold as is the Arctic Fox. And I assume it was built about the same time as the Lance which was 2011. That's what I'd figured on doing Larry cleaning the burner and the tiny little jet thats so easy to clog up. I hadn't thought about the thermister, and that thing can cause cooling problems. In fact I've already replaced the one on the Arctic Fox fridge.

I think that's why Lowes and Home Depot let you overnight in their parking lots. They're hoping you come in to buy one more part when the previous one doesn't fix a problem.

Yeah Linda, if it wasn't for people like me "fixing things," over and over, those big-box stores would probably go out of business.
