When I woke up this morning my plan was to get the Arctic Fox ready to leave tomorrow, but the more I thought about it the less that seemed like the thing to do. I realized that all I'm doing right now is killing time until I head back to Colorado for the summer, and my original plan was to be back in Colorado by around the middle of May. So by staying here in Benson another week that will mean I have less time to kill on the road going back to Colorado. I think a two-week drive back to Colorado sounds like a good balance between stopping and seeing things along the way, and getting there when there's not much chance of snow. My route back is simple enough, head east on Interstate 10 until I hit Interstate 25 and then go North into Colorado. I've gone that way many times before but usually without stopping or seeing much of anything. It's easily a one day drive when not pulling the Arctic Fox, and an easy two day drive while towing. So I'll have to do a lot of sightseeing on the way to make sure I don't get there before the cold weather has gone for good. For those of you who think Summer is here and the cold weather has already gone for good in Colorado, I will point out that a couple of days ago the schools in the town where I used to live had a two hour delay in the morning because of snow. theboondork
