I don't like to talk about politics anymore, but sometimes I just can't help it

Since I'm leaving Rockhound tomorrow morning these are some left over pictures of Rockhound State Park

As much as I dislike making plans, I've decided to go to the City of Rocks State Park near Silver City, New Mexico. I was looking at their website and found that they are not very crowded, which is odd for that Park, so I thought I would take advantage of that and spend a few days walking around in the rocks.

It's supposed to be a little warmer when I get there on Monday, so I don't think the weather will be a problem as much as it has been in the past couple of weeks. It's not crowded, which always makes going to a place more interesting, and I want to use up as much of my free boondocking in New Mexico as I can before my Park pass expires in April.

Normally, that's not a problem because I used to spend some time in New Mexico during the Fall and the Spring, heading back and forth to Colorado. But this time, because of the way my trip is going and future weather predictions, I don't know if I will get back to New Mexico during the Spring; I may decide to stay in southern Arizona, where it's warmer longer than I normally would and then head back to Colorado through Arizona.

As much as I don't like bringing up politics in my blog, I would like to mention something I've been thinking about since I will be spending a fair amount of time near the border this upcoming Winter.

If it looks like Trump has a decent chance of winning the election, In my opinion, the possibility of Trump winning will quickly spread throughout the world and we will see an influx of illegals into this country like no other time in history, knowing that Trump will immediately shut all of this illegal immigration down, and go back to legal immigration. If that happens, I don't know how it will affect me in southern Arizona, but if it does happen, I feel it will be necessary to keep an eye on the situation and plan accordingly.

And remember, hundreds of thousands of people crossing our borders are "gotaways." So you have to ask yourself, since anyone from any country can walk over the border and turn themselves into the border patrol and be given a free Obama phone, a plane ticket to anywhere they want to go, and turned loose into the United States, why are there people that don't do that and are known as "gotaways?" Common sense would say; Some people must have something to hide. And what they have to hide is so important they risk dying in the desert during the dangerous heat of the Summer.

The cartels know that Trump will shut down one of their main ways of sending drugs, terrorists, and MS-13 gang members to America, will the cartels double, triple, or quadruple the amount of "gotaways" to get as many drugs and gangsters as possible this summer into America before they get shut down?

Nobody knows what will happen, but one thing I'm sure of: No one that is currently in charge of this country, whoever that may be, won't do anything about it.

This Cows Tongue cactus, which is a type of Prickly Pear cactus, has been eaten and trampled by what I assume to be cattle or donkeys. The devastation appears to be to great to be Javelina.
