I have a lot to accomplish and I'm off to a great start

Now that the holidays are over, and I've rested from my normally busy, hectic, stress-filled average day. I can now start the hard work of turning the bronco into a full-time live-aboard, go anywhere, boondocking beast.

Obviously, all of that will not get done in the approximately one month that I have to accomplish it without maximum effort on my part. So with no time to spare, I've got to knuckle down, put my nose to the grindstone, and start exhibiting the dogged determination, and relentless energy that I'm known for.

So right after breakfast, I sat back down in my easy chair and immediately started planning a backbreaking schedule that will tax me to my maximum abilities as I whip the bronco into shape in the very brief time I have available.

After nodding off for a while, thanks to a very large breakfast, I opened my eyes and found it was close enough to lunchtime that I decided to take a break from my relentless brainstorming and fix myself something to eat. After all I have to keep enough food in me to survive the difficult days ahead. Napoleon once said "an army marches on its stomach" which explains why it took his army so long to get anywhere. I drive my truck everywhere I go, and I also have to eat to keep up my strength.

Even though Fall comes early at this altitude, it's still getting in the high 80s by the early afternoon, which experience has taught me is no temperature for someone to be outside doing any of the hard work that I'm tasked with. I've spent a considerable amount of time in the desert Southwest, so I'm well aware of the meaning and value of an afternoon "siesta."

Waking up refreshed from my siesta, it was obviously too dark to get any work done outside, so I decided that since tomorrow is going to be a very busy day trying to accomplish all the things I've planned, I'll hit the rack early tonight knowing I'm going to need all the rest I can get.

There's still a great deal that needs to be done to get the bronco ready to travel this winter, and after getting a good nights sleep tonight, I'll be raring to go, right after breakfast, when I'll start making plans how I can best accomplish what appears to be mission impossible.
