"MOUNTAINS, MOUNTAINS, MOUNTAINS". there are so many mountains in this world, and their so hard to climb, it's not fair to those that can't climb the mountains because their tired, their lazy, or their little legs are too short. So I took this picture to speak for all those that can't speak for themselves to say, lower these mountains ! Make the world level ! Everyone deserves a level playing field so the ball doesn't roll away.

Your writing about RMNP got me to thinking of all the NPs I went to while working in Washington State and how big they were. So I looked up the NPs areas to get a frame of reference on RMNP. It was interesting.

I don't know how it would relate to other national parks in size, but I know it holds it's own in beauty and grandeur. And being less than 100 miles away from me makes it an easy weekend trip, although I would hate to deal with the crowds on the weekend. And it can't be beat to beat the heat in Denver for a few days.

Of all the NPs I have visited Capitol Reef NP is the one I liked best so far. Running around on Mt Rainier was a lot of fun too. Hard to beat the NPs.

I've been to Capital Reef National Park before, I used to go to Las Vegas several times a year on interstate 70 and sometimes I would drop off 70 and go south down to Capital Reef.
