I might be heading for the Rio Grande

The holidays over, the crowds have gone, so it's safe to click the pics.

I decided not to leave my boondocking spot today because there might still be some traffic on the road leftover from the weekend, so tomorrow morning I will head for Walmart and then come back to a new boondocking spot.

My supplies have held up well. I have plenty of everything except I'm down to half a stick of butter, but that would probably last me three or four days. I still have a week's worth of propane left, so that was never a problem, and I'll get some more tomorrow.

I'm looking forward to getting a new view, and I'm leaning heavily towards boondocking in the Rio Grande Canyon just below the Elephant Butte dam. There are 3 or 4 days of breezy weather coming up, and I think it might be less windy in the Canyon. Or it might be even windier if the wind is funneled down the Canyon. Either way, I won't find out until I get there, and I can always go somewhere else nearby if I feel the need.
