I've been pondering about how to deal with the new motorcycle and my RVing blog. To me RVing, Boondocking, full-timing, and the Arctic Fox are real life, and the motorcycle is a hobby.
I feel like if I put too much stuff about my motorcycle in the blog I will bore people who aren't interested at all in motorcycles and just want to read about RVing. And I will also bore the people who visit my website to read about the motorcycle and find it buried in a bunch of RV stuff. So I think I need to kind of separate my real life of full-timeing from my motorcycle hobby.
Now I don't want to start a brand-new blog, That's way more effort than I would want to deal with. So what I think I will do is just make another page on my blog, and call it something like "the boondork has lost his mind", or "theboondorks daily dance with death"and possibly "life is short .... And it just got shorter". I think doing that it will be easier to separate real-life RVing from my motorcycling hobby.
So I picture it looking something like this. I will write about my everyday life just like normal, and if I ride the motorcycle to a Lake and take pictures, I will write in my blog that I rode my motorcycle to a Lake. And then on my motorcycle page I will write more detail about the motorcycle itself, like it's great fuel mileage, or how I had to push it two miles back to camp because I ran out of gas, and things like that.
I'll try that concept and see how it works. I want to keep it simple because the last thing I need to do is spend more time sitting at this computer getting fatter.
