Sorry to keep posting but your pictures are amazing. Sangre de Cristo's in the background of the first pic. I get to see them most mornings on my way to work, from a long ways away.

It's good to hear from you Ed and your comments are always appreciated. Yeah those are the Sangre de Cristo's, "the blood of Christ", for those that don't know. You must work for Google Maps to know the mountains the way you do. I think the only mountain I can identify is Pike's Peak and that's because I could look out my living room window every morning and see it.

Always great to hear from you Malisa. Yeah there's always something majestic about the Colorado mountains not to mention the fact that their green and they look alive. Whereas the Arizona mountains look kind of brown and dead. I never have the urge to walk up an Arizona Mountain. But whenever I see a Colorado mountain it makes me want to climb it and see what's up there.

LOL, I definitely don't work for Google. Other than Pikes Peak, you have seen my knowledge of mountains. Being a native southeastern Colorado guy, these are the mountains I've spent most my time in. Now living in southern Colorado Springs, I get to see the Spanish Peaks, Wet Mtns, Sangre de Cristo's and Pikes Peak almost daily.

Well that's too bad Ed, I was thinking about having a weekly,"name this mountain"picture just for you.
