the weather guessers say this storm is moving east and is strong enough to cause a lot of problems as it crosses the middle of the country.
I woke up this morning to a very cold winter wonderland, which I could easily have done without.
It seems like I do this every Spring. I know it can snow in Denver up until June, but I always seem to come here in the middle of May knowing I'm probably gonna face some Spring snow, but I guess by then I'm missing everyone so much that a little snow doesn't bother me.
I was planning on going out to my property near 11 mile reservoir for the Memorial Day weekend, and I was hoping the pop-up camper would be ready to roll by then, but that's not gonna happen. I've ordered the tie downs that fit my truck but they're not going to be here until Friday, and the way the weather's predicted to be most of the week I probably won't be able to get many other things accomplished so it looks like I will have to camp in the tent for the weekend which is beginning to look more like a test of my sanity than a great time in the mountains.
By the snow on the truck I would say we got 4 or 5 inches, but it's hard to tell because it's heavy wet snow and it squashes down smaller than it really is.
Even the sunshine looks cold when there's snow everywhere.
