I took this snapshot the other morning when I accidentally woke up before the sun came up, I took this picture out the living room window and went back to bed.
Beautiful day today, mid-80s, blue sky, low humidity, slight breeze, couldn't be better.
The holiday campers started trickling in yesterday and by late afternoon it started getting pretty busy. And by this morning there was already way more people camping on the beach than there was last Saturday afternoon, so by Thursday night there was already a lot more people here that on a normal weekend.
This afternoon the trickle turned into a stream as all the folks that couldn't finagle a way to get out of work on Thursday or Friday came pouring in.
I myself never had the problem of getting out of work on a Friday when I worked for the government. Since we had a very liberal sick leave policy all it took was a phone call to the boss early Friday morning complaining of some malady or the other, preferably one that was contagious, and in no time at all I was out in my boat hauling in some Grouper. And my boss never became suspicious of my frequent Friday fevers as long as a few fish fillets were shared at work on Monday morning.
