Oh Boy another exciting adventure. You are so lucky. Good luck with the Truck. My diesel never failed me. Trailer tires did all to often but not the truck. I have read a lot of bloggers with the newer diesels that have the "reduced power" trouble but I cannot recall what it was that caused it except they were all Fords. Best of luck to you.

Thank you Barney, I can use a little encouragement. Even though I'm very happy to be here because I'm safe, and experts will be working on my problem tomorrow. So my biggest problem right now is I'm not plugged in so my air conditioner isn't working, it's almost 7:30 and its still 92° outside, and I've been used to having air-conditioning for the last two months or so.

That does suck. But like you said, there are worse places to get stuck. Hope it ends up being minor. I’ve only owned one diesel, a VW Golf Tdi, The engine was relatively trouble-free, but everything seems to cost more for diesel repairs.

Thank you John, I appreciate the concern. That seems to be the way it is. Diesels last a long time and their relatively trouble-free, but when something does go wrong it can get very expensive very quick.
