I've noticed that the amount of RV's at the old rodeo grounds where I'm boondocked have remained fairly stable for quite some time. After the Big Show was over in Quartzsite the number of RVs boondocking here just about doubled but after a while they started drifting off and for the last couple weeks hardly anybody has come and gone and there's roughly the same number of RVs here at the moment there was when I arrived almost a month ago, which is about 10 or so.

But as much as I like being here I'm looking forward to moving on. No matter how good a place is I always get the urge for a new view after a while and really look forward to hitching up and leaving town, my motto has always been the only place I like better than where I'm at, is where I'm going.

Talking to my daughter in Denver today on the phone she told me about all the snow they're been having for the last couple of weeks, and how cold it's been. And apparently already setting a new record for snowfall in February and the months only half over. Hearing about things like that makes me extra happy that I'm in a place like Ajo where it's warm and sunny.

At the moment I'm figuring on leaving here  Tuesday morning, I could leave on Monday but if I remember correctly the office at Ben Avery gun range where you check into the campground is closed on Mondays.
