I'm back, and this is a blog post from five days ago.

Contrary to popular belief I haven't had the flu, or died, It was worse.... I had no Internet. I wrote a blog every day I just couldn't post them. But I've left Ajo and I'm back in civilization again and I have four or five blog post and a couple of comments that I will be putting on the Internet today and hopefully by tomorrow things will be back to normal. Thanks to everyone who hung in there.

It seemed like my solar panels weren't putting out as many amps as they should so just before lunch I shinnied up on the roof and found that the panels had accumulated a lot of dust, it does appear that I'm not cleaning them often enough. I suppose when your living in a place where rain is as rare as an honest politician cleaning solar panels is not going to be an annual job. I don't know if the cleaning did any good, and I won't find out till tomorrow because my batteries were already fully charged so the solar panels were just laying around doing nothing anyway.

I've been here by myself for the last three nights so the only people I see are the two guys that take care of the park since they come around every few days and pick up the trash. I like it here at the Ajo Regional Park, it's got pretty much everything I require to be happy boondocking. It's peaceful, although sometimes I can hear the airplanes over at the bombing range which doesn't bother me in the least, I consider it the sound of freedom. It's less than five miles from the town and shopping. The length of stay requirements appear to be negotiable. And best of all it's free. Throw in the free trash pickup and I think the place is great.

I'm going to have to make a grocery run here pretty quick and probably refill my propane tank at the same time. I'm kind of dreading what my food bill is going to be at the grocery store in town, speaking of which, the grocery store has an Ace Hardware store in it. As you're walking down the grocery aisles the aisles turn into a hardware store. Very convenient, but kind of quirky.
