It was a rare rainy day today. Some rain actually hit the ground, instead of evaporating in the air, and the ground even had some damp spots. A rare day indeed.
I spent a fruitless hour and a half at the Verizon store again today. One hour was spent waiting for someone to help me, and half hour was spent trying to convince them that they have a truly unlimited jetpack data plan for sale. I couldn't convince the girl that was trying to help me that this was so, I had no better luck with the assistant manager, and the store manager assured me that no such plan exists.
Since this is the third or fourth time I've talked to store managers, and the third or fourth store that I've been in trying to get this unlimited plan and being told time after time that it doesn't exist, I'm starting to doubt my own sanity. Others have doubted it before, but this is the first time for me.
I've kind of reached an impasse now, not knowing what to do. Verizon said they will gladly refund my money if I don't want the 8800L jetpack I just bought the other day. But people on the Internet are still saying the plan exists. So who do I believe? People on the Internet who say they've got the plan already, or various store managers in New Mexico, Nevada, and Arizona who say it doesn't exist.
This is become a real conundrum that is boggling my easily boggled mind. Since it's been about three weeks since I heard of this plan I would have assumed by now the stores would know about it, but they don't. At the same time there's more people on the Internet writing or vloging that they have the plan.
I re-upped for another week here at Ben Avery's so I guess that gives me another week to decide if I want to take the jetpack back to the store or not. I don't like having to make decisions like this, I'm better at relaxing than making decisions.
