A little overcast this morning, which feels good after the 80s it's been around here. Today has been mostly packing up and getting ready to leave tomorrow morning. I didn't have much to do since I got most of the packing done Sunday when I thought I was leaving Monday morning.
So it looks like tomorrow morning will officially start my slow crawl back to Denver and complete the circle I started around the middle of October last year. I don't want to get there too quick because there's still some snow in the forecast, but looking at the long-range prognosis it appears that winter is going to end about the middle of May and the temperatures will start getting into the 70s every day. Night times will continue to be chilly in the mid-40s but to me that's just good sleeping weather.
It doesn't actually take me that long to drive from here to Denver because it's only about 500 miles. But due to my lackadaisical attitude about covering lots of miles in a day, and my desire not to get there while it's still cold I figure it will take me roughly a week of "go for broke" relaxing with a little bit of driving thrown in every once in a while.

when I was in Zozo Sunday morning the Army was there getting fuel for their trucks. I'm assuming they were heading back to Fort Bliss which is not too far away in El Paso Texas.
