I went into town and did laundry first thing this morning. I always dread doing laundry because it usually means I have to set around for 2 hours waiting for everything to wash and dry which is usually pretty boring. But this time I had some errands to run in town so it worked out that I got some things accomplished while doing the laundry. The laundry was pretty expensive, each washing machine was $2 and I needed 3. And the dryer took almost another $2 to dry my clothes, so all in all I thought it was pretty costly.
I called Fremont motorsports, the place I bought my Yamaha WR450, and they said they got my title and other paperwork back from the state. This is real good news because now I should be able to get my tag and be able to ride the bike on the street. Even though I don't care about riding on the street that much I need to be able to ride on some streets just to get to the dirt roads I want to be on, and Colorado has a lot of fun dirt roads.
After doing laundry I spent the rest of the entire day trying to get the taillights to work that I put on the motorcycle rack. It didn't look like a very difficult job but for some reason it took me half a day to figure it out. I must've hooked them up wrong a dozen times before I finally got them to come on when they were supposed to. The weird thing is I hooked up my entire solar system which seemed a lot more complicated than a couple of taillights and got it right the first time.
The taillights still aren't finished, I have to route the wiring so it's out of the way and a few other odds and ends. But at least now I know what wire goes where so the hard parts over. I should be able to finish it tomorrow after getting back from Fremont motorsports.
