When writing my blog most of the time it's easy and the words just pour from my dictation microphone on to a virtual sheet of paper on the computer screen with ease, and could best be described by quoting a line  from Blazing Saddles when Harvey Korman says to Slim Pickens.... "My mind is aglow with whirling transient nodes of thought careening through a cosmic vapor of invention".... That's me most times, but other times I can't think of a darn thing to say.

I don't know why it works out like that because other than the changing scenery of where I live my life is fairly typical day after day and you would think that if I had something to say one day I would have something to say the next. But for me having something to write about seems to be feast or famine, one day I have to force myself to stop writing, the next day, even though life is normal, I can't think of a single thing to write about.

Maybe it's because I don't think of myself as writing a blog I think of it as talking to someone, and that's probably because I am talking and not typing on a keyboard like most folks do, which is why my blog is frequently disjointed, and random, because that's the way I talk.

I believe that writing something that's not only coherent but interesting requires a lot more talent than what I do which is pretend I'm sitting in a lawn chair with a beer in my hand next to a neighbor and talking about whatever pops into my head, because it's simple to do and anyone can write that way.

So like I said earlier I'm sorry that I couldn't think of anything to say today. I had considered skipping today and not writing anything but I thought with this plague going around some folks might think something happened to me so I figured I would say something just so people will know I'm still alive, and hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to think of something to talk about.
