I'm working way too hard in this heat

I don't often do themes with my pictures because that requires more effort on my part and effort is something I religiously avoid. But I've been so busy with the campers lately I haven't had much time for picture taking. But I have these pictures I took several nights ago that I call "Nighttime Flowers."

I've been working pretty hard today, which is rare for me and only done under extreme duress. I've simply got a lot to do, not much time to do it, and we have a heat wave where it's over 90° every day, which isn't making things any easier.

I've got everything out of the bronco except some gadgets screwed to the wall. Last year I removed some things from the bronco and stored them in my storage room, which was handy when I rented it, but since I'm in Denver now, my storage unit is about 75 miles away. And I can't sell the bronco until I get to my storage room and replace some of the things I took out, which I felt I wouldn't need while testing the bronco's livability last winter.

I'm giving a lot of thought to the air conditioner on the Lance. I seldom need air-conditioning, and I rarely have the electricity to run it. Also, it takes up a lot of room on the roof that could be used for another solar panel, and adding weight that I don't need.

I'm also thinking about what to do with the bed in the Lance. It's got a queen-size bed in it, but I'm not a queen-size guy and have no reason to carry around a bed that I'm only using half of, so I'm seriously considering throwing out what's there now and getting an inexpensive twin size bed. It will be lighter, easier to make up, and plenty of room for just me.

I can't wait to get it on the truck and be able to take it somewhere. But before I can do that, I have to sort out the electric plug-in from the camper to the car and get the tie-downs to work, so the camper doesn't fly off the truck. And I think once those two things are done, that will be enough to take it on the road.

And speaking of tie-downs, the guy bought it from left me the four tie-downs that he had been using called "Fast Guns," which, as far as I can tell, are the most expensive camper tie-downs I've ever seen; there going on Amazon for over $400 a pair! Needless to say, I really appreciated that.
