Instead of boring everyone with pictures of the Bass Pro SHOP parking lot, I decided to bore everyone with leftover pictures of Walsenburg.

I pulled into the Bass Pro shop in Colorado Springs about 10:30 this morning. I hadn't planned on getting there that soon but I woke up earlier in the morning than I usually do and having nothing better to do I just hit the road.

It's nice to be back in Colorado again. Even though I don't actually live here it's the closest thing I've got to a home base. I'm not sure why having a home-base makes me feel good, after all I live on the road and where ever I Park for the night is home. I guess I haven't completely gotten over not having a plot of land with a house on it that doesn't move.

It's a weird feeling not wanting to live in a house and yet still missing it. But I've only been full timing for about a year and a half, and I lived in a house for around 45 years, so I guess its going to take me a little longer to get over not having what most people call "a home".

Just what I love to do first thing in the morning

The big building on the left is the Walsenburg hospital. They say the hospital doesn't give you any medicine they just prop you up next to a window and a few hours later you're all better.
