And then there is my rig setup. My 12 volt system is completely separate from my 120 volt systems. So even if I am plugged in for A/C my solar is providing all the 12v power required for the Castle. When I am plugged in to 120v I am trading LPG used for boondocking for 120v power.

I was just wondering, are your solar panels the only way your batteries are charged or do you have a converter- charger in the castle that charges them when you're plugged into 120?

My converter was disconnected from the 120 v when I installed the first solar on this trailer in Feb. 2008.

I see. I was wondering how your 12 V and 120 got completely separated and that explains it. Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
