The weather here in Denver has been getting cooler and cooler and it doesn't take a weatherman to know that fall is here.
Daytime highs are pretty nice usually in the 60s but the nights are getting more and more chilly and according to the latest weather "wild guess" on Monday night were supposed to get a little snow and our first below freezing temperature of the season. These are clear signs that I need to see Denver in the rearview mirror.
I've got a couple of things I need to finish up around here which is gonna take about 10 days or so and then I'll be heading south.
Around the end of this month will be my second anniversary of being a full timer and I've been trying to think of something to do to commemorate that milestone. I know that's not a long time compared to some full timers out there that have been full timing so long that their first RV was pulled by a pair of oxen, But to me it's been a very special time and it's flown by so fast I can't believe it's been two years.
I don't know why it's been such a great experience for me. Maybe it's because as soon as it crossed my mind to become a full timer I knew without a doubt that's what I wanted to do, there were no second thoughts, there was no plan "B".
Maybe it's because I've never defined myself by how I made my living, so when I stopped making a living there was nothing missing from my life.
Possibly it's because I enjoy traveling and waking up in a new place with brand-new things to see and do.
Or being lazy could have something to do with it, being a full timer is the perfect thing for a lazy guy like me to be doing.
Could be I like living a laid-back stress free lifestyle that allows me to do what I want when I want.
It might even be a combination of all those things.
