It looks like the nu flu is upon us

I've noticed there's a lot of pic clicken going on... Keep up the good work.

A commercial passenger plane flew over my head the other day. Luckily he was several thousand feet in the air so I didn't have to duck.

Today was a quiet, peaceful day for me. I just laid back and took it easy all day, figuring that since this is the last day of the Christmas, New Year's holidays, this day required a celebration, and I celebrated it by not doing anything.

But tomorrow, I'm going to be a ball of pure energy. I'm gonna get out of bed early, 8 o'clock, and get over to the Pima Air and Space Museum when it opens, and spend half a day walking amongst all the airplanes. I figured that day and that time should hopefully put me around as few people as possible, and since most of the planes are outside, there shouldn't be any Bat flu or nu flu worries. And even the exhibits inside are in aircraft hangars which are huge so that shouldn't be a problem either.

Speaking of the Bat flu I see on the Internet that some guy in Colorado has caught the new, more communicable version of the Bat flu. It sure didn't take long for the nu flu to get here from England, but why Colorado, Colorado is in the middle of nowhere, and the guy that caught it was in the middle of nowhere in Colorado. Just something else for me to worry about I guess.

My time here is flying by. I haven't done much of anything, but I haven't been bored, and I think I've only got about three days left before I have to pack-up or re-up. I don't know which I will do yet, at the moment I can't think of any place else I'd rather be.

You Birders out there will immediately recognize this critter as a speckled one eyed slumdweller. The dead giveaway is, as you can see, he's only got one eye. I was lucky enough to get a picture of this very rare bird while it perched on a bush growing in the living room of the Arctic Fox. I don't know how long the bird and the bush have been there, but I think it's about time I vacuumed.
