Another warm day today, it looks like the remnants of winter are completely gone now and I don't have to be worried about it being chilly in the daytime anymore.
I drove into Deming today and picked up my general delivery mail, filled up a propane tank, and bought a few things at Walmart.
I don't think I'll be hanging around Deming much longer, I was mainly waiting for my mail to show up and since that's out of the way now I'll probably head up to City of Rocks state Park about the middle of the week.
Having this New Mexico annual park pass has added a little bit more freedom to my already fairly laid-back lifestyle. I no longer have to make plans about how long I'll be staying at a state Park. As long as I don't overstay my two week limit I can come and go as I please. Which makes it more like when I was staying on BLM land in Arizona and I could stay two days or two weeks depending on how much I liked a place. And not how long I had paid to stay.
I took some pictures of the yellow poppies today, and they sure are pretty. There's a lot of them on the side of the mountains and in some places they look like a yellow carpet.
