Yes! Small town parades are cheerful events. Glad you got there in time. And I liked your defense of Tombstone yesterday. Looks like you will have peace and quiet in your camping spot. Enjoy!

Yeah getting to that parade half hour before it started was blind look on my part. But I had a good time, and I still don't know why they had a parade today. Yes this is a peaceful, quiet spot I'm at. And without a thousand cranes all making noise at sunrise, I'll be able sleep later tomorrow morning.

Our previous suburb had a parade that went right down our side street. There were lots of kids in the parade, too, some scouts and some kids on decorated bikes. We always had lots of festival queens as well because all the neighboring suburbs would send their queens to each other's parades. The business floats would toss out candy making them very popular.

Same here, there were five or six business floats in the parade and all of them were tossing out candy. There's nothing like free candy to make the kids remember the good times they had and want to go back the next time there's a parade.
