Today has been another getting ready to leave day. I took some things over to the clubhouse and left them on the swap table hoping someone can find some use for the things. I put air in all four truck tires, they were all a couple of pounds low. I was going to do some laundry because the laundry room was completely empty but I just didn't have enough dirty clothes to fool with. I drove into Hondo to the Walmart,  filled up with fuel, and picked up a few items at the store. I backed under the trailer and hooked up but I still haven't lowered the trailer on to the hitch yet. I found that the Arctic Fox moves around less if I leave its landing gear on the ground until I get ready to leave.

I had forgotten that today was the day when a lot of the Thanksgiving holiday people head back home after a long holiday weekend, but I remembered real quick when I saw all the traffic out on the main road.

I checked the weather today on the Internet and was not very happy with what I saw. The first problem is it's going to be windy tomorrow, so I'm going to try to leave fairly early before the wind picks up. The other problem is a bit more troublesome, the 10 day forecast shows that Corpus Christi is going to be cloudy and rainy almost the whole 10 days. I believe there were two days when it was supposed to be sunny or partly sunny the rest of the time it was going to be cloudy . This does not bode well for someone who lives on sunshine.

I had planned on spending a couple of weeks at the Padre Island National Seashore. [ PINS ] but if the weather forecast proves to be accurate I will have to get an RV park that has hookups sooner than I had planned.. Fortunately my plans are not written in stone so I'm able to go with the flow no matter what comes along, I just hope that 10 days of cloudy weather is not a portent of things to come.
