I've been feeling silly all day

This is the actual sign at the entrance to the Dateland RV Park. At one time I think it also said "and resort", but that part fell off.

Since I'll be leaving Dateland on Wednesday I've been giving some consideration to where I would like to go next, and one of the places I'm considering is the Escapees RV Park in Casa Grande Arizona.

There's several places in the area I would like to visit and the Casa Grande SKP Park looks like it would be a good place to boondock for a week and explore the surrounding area for likely boondocking locations.

Since I seem to be getting more serious about trying to get to the places where the desert wildflowers put on spectacular displays during certain years when the rains are just right. I'm thinking that Casa Grande is a kind of central location where I could quickly and easily get to the Phoenix area the Tucson area or any other desert areas where the flowers are hopefully putting on a show.

It appears this piece of driftwood washed into Dateland during an extremely high tide in the Gulf of Mexico. I'm sure that's what happened because I remember Barney the old fat man, taking a picture of this piece of driftwood on the beach at Padre Island several years ago and calling it a Sea Serpent or a Mermaid or something.
