I've got a lot of work to do before I Ease on down the road..... And I'm not known for doing a lot of work.

Since I'm going to leave here Monday morning...... I hope, I need to get busy getting the Arctic Fox ready to travel. Since I've been sedentary for a month and pretty lax about putting things back where they belong there's a whole lot of stuff that needs to be packed away. And I need to get it all done before this weekend because the rodeo goes on all day for both days, starting at 8:30 in the morning which doesn't leave me a whole lot of time to get packed up, hitched up and ready to leave.

Past experience tells me that I'm going to be a doing a lot of walking this weekend. Since sitting in the grandstand is not a way to get a decent picture I plan on moving around the arena a lot and hopefully being able to get behind the scenes where a lot of the action takes place with the contestants getting ready to ride the rough stock.

With all that happening I'm probably going to be too tired after the rodeo to get much packing done to the Arctic Fox, so I need to take control of my legendary procrastinating abilities and get things done before Saturday morning.

I woke up this morning to find I had two new neighbors, they must've snuck in last night while I was asleep. My ability to sleep soundly while boondocking in Walmart parking lots makes it easy to sneak up on me.

Cowboys use to carry a Winchester .30-30 lever action rifle in a scabbard on their saddle.... Now they carry a water bottle,. A sign of the times unfortunately and the only thing that would make me feel a little better about the situation is if the bottle is full of rye whiskey.
