Chilly weather

 I re-upped this morning until Tuesday, so I'll get to the Tucson area then and, with any luck, be boondocking at the Colossal Cave Park.

I want to stay there until the rodeo at the fairgrounds this weekend is over. Still, Colossal Cave Park is up in the mountains, so it will be chillier than where I'm at in Tombstone, and I'm getting tired of dealing with chilly weather, but El Niño has been difficult to escape. It appears my only hope is to get global warming here as soon as possible.

Despite being chilly and partially cloudy on some days, my camper batteries stay charged as long as I don't use my big laptop too much. So, the only thing I use it for anymore is dealing with my snapshots for the blog. I used to use it at night for watching movies because a 17-inch screen makes the movies look a lot better than the 13-inch screen on my little laptop.

I didn't walk into town today; it was too chilly. It was only supposed to reach the mid-50s today, but I don't think it ever made it, and there still calling for a little snow tonight. Tomorrow, it's supposed to be a high of 40° and nighttime in the teens, which is reason enough for me to get out of town.

I reckon that whole OK corral shootout thing would've been completely different if the Earp brothers had to shovel snow out of the way. Everybody involved probably would've gone to the nearest saloon to get warm, have a few drinks, and forget the whole thing.

I'm looking forward to getting to the Tucson area since I have to drive past a Popeyes, where I can stop and get some red beans and rice. That's the only restaurant food that I make a point of eating every once in a while. But in the summer, when I'm in Denver then my favorite restaurant food is Lucille's Creole restaurant, and I like just about everything at Lucille's, but their biscuits and gravy are the best I've ever had.
