This fifth wheel has solar panels facing all different directions so he gets some charging no matter where the sun is. But I'm not sure if that gets more amps than just facing all of the panels South which is what most folks do. But he's hedged his bets with a wind powered generator. My experience with them is their kinda noisy especially for the neighbors. This guy has the top of the class A covered with solar panels, and the trailer full of solar panels. It wouldn't surprise me if he could run his air conditioner off the power he has available. Strangely enough after writing that I just noticed that he doesn't have an air conditioner visible on the roof, but he has a window shaker air conditioner in one of the windows. Odd, very odd. This is a more unconventional solar panel mounting scheme and probably works very well, the downside is the class A always has to be facing some degree to the West or the side mounted panels will be useless In the winter. These folks must be denizens of the desert because in some boondocking areas you don't have the ability to park in any direction you choose.
