Nature gave me a pretty sunset to welcome me back to an LTVA last night.

A beautiful sunny warm day today with no rain in the forecast until Wednesday and then its just for one day.

Since I'm normally not in Quartzsite during March I'm not sure what's normal for this time of year but I did find it odd that there's very few vendors at all anywhere in town, and there's no volunteers signing people into the normal boondocking areas to supposedly prevent people from staying longer than two weeks, at least not the areas I've seen. So I'm not sure if that's normal for March or not because usually I'm out of here before the end of January, and a lot earlier if I'm not going to the Big Show. There are of course people manning the entrance to the LTVA's since the government makes money off that deal but those are the only officials I've seen.

It appears there's not as much maintenance going on here at La Posa North as I've seen in the past. The roads are in really bad shape with a lot of potholes, but that could have been caused by all the rains we've had in Arizona, and I noticed most of the big trash dumpsters that are here at La Posa North were full and overflowing. I haven't driven over to where the water and dumpsites are yet but I'm hoping they're working since that's the reason I came here.

Well Eddie to be very honest your comment made my spam sensors tingle, but despite being 99% sure this comment is spam I am so starved for societal appreciation that I will accept those well-deserved compliments graciously and hope that there's a tiny chance that you're not a Russian bot.

But if you are a Russian bot please don't tell me until I've spent at least a day or two thinking that someone actually likes my blog and is not reading it out of pity.

These things make it special: 1. your humor--you don't whine or rant 2. you write very often--too many blogs have entries a couple of weeks apart, and I lose interest in them 3. your photographs are beautiful. WOW! What can I say Nancy George, you just made my whole day. I especially appreciate you telling me about the things I'm doing correctly because that's very helpful to keep my blog going in the right direction. And since photography has become pretty much my only hobby, other than putting around on the little Beta 250 every once in a while, it's always good to hear that someone appreciates my pictures because that tells me I'm going in the right direction there also.

So thank you for the kind and encouraging words I really appreciate it, and you're obviously far too thoughtful to be a robot.
