Lake Havasu ?

Today is just random landscape snapshots from around Quartzsite.

I will be heading to Lake Havasu either Monday or Tuesday, and I'm looking forward to it. Since I've been driving around a lot here in Quartzite, the camper has been packed up and ready to go. If I stay someplace for a week or more, I will leave things spread out and handy to use, but when I'm doing some driving almost every other day, the camper normally stays ready to go in just a few minutes all the time.

 It's only about 75 miles to Lake Havasu from where I'm at in Quartzite, and I've got to drive right past the Walmart in Parker, so I'll stop there and buy a few things. But there's a large Walmart in Havasu, so grocery shopping won't be a problem.

I hope there's some cloudy weather while I'm there. Lake Havasu is pretty much sunny every day; after all, it is a desert, but I like taking pictures when it's cloudy, even though cloudy weather doesn't do my camper batteries any good.

The Lance has been doing well and hasn't had any problems except for the leaky vent over the bed, which only leaked that one time, and hasn't since. I wish it WOULD leak; that might encourage me to get up on the roof and put in the new vent.

But all of the Lances main components are working well. The refrigerator running on propane keeps the temperature reliably in the mid-30s, which is good considering how old the fridge is. and may also have something to do with me putting fans on the outside of the refrigerator to keep the vents cool, the cooler you can keep the outside vents, the colder the refrigerator gets. The factory furnace works perfectly, and it's had a fair amount of use lately dealing with El Niño and the chilly weather I've been in this winter. I've never had any leaks in the water system, so I can't complain about the camper and the job it's doing, since its keeping me warm, dry, and comfortable.
