Leaving for Deming New Mexico tomorrow

Almost ready to leave

Well today is packing up and getting ready to leave day. I've given a lot of thought about whether I should leave tomorrow or stay until the wind stops blowing and have finally decided to be on my way.

It's been windy for a couple of days and is supposed to stay that way until Monday and I don't feel like staying here till then. Not that there's anything wrong with being here at the escapees Saguaro co-op is just that I've been here for a couple of weeks and it just feels like it's time to move on.

Now the wind isn't all that bad mostly 20 miles an hour or so, and that's in the afternoons with the mornings being just a little breezy. So I figure if I leave early in the morning and stop before lunch it should be okay.

I'm only planning on making it to Deming New Mexico tomorrow, and that's somewhere around 170 miles from Benson. As usual I'm in no hurry and I definitely don't want to get back to Colorado until it's warm . And for those of you that thinks I'm being too careful the town where I used to live is supposed to get a foot of snow tomorrow, And it's going to keep snowing until Sunday
