This is but a small part of the full hookup area.

Just another day in paradise for these RVers. Folks like this are living the kind of life that boondocker's can only dream of.

A rare day when the blog post and the pictures are of the same thing. Normally my blog post tells one story, and my pictures tell another, which actually makes doing my blog simpler for me. But this time the blog post is actually about the pictures. A rare day indeed.

Another beautiful but chilly day today. And, of course, since I like to catch the right light for taking snapshots, I'm walking outside just as the sun's coming up, which is the coldest time to be walking around outdoors.

Today, I was moseying around the full hookup area, which is on the other side of the campground from where the boondockers stay, and since they have all the electricity they want, there is nary a solar panel to be seen on the full hookup side of the campground.

They do not need solar panels when they can plug into electricity everywhere they go. They also don't need half a dozen gallon jugs of scrounged-up drinking water that Boondocker's are constantly schlepping from truck to camper, nor is there a need to tote around and fill heavy propane tanks several times a month since their electricity comes from a large wire that plugs into there camper and magically does what propane does... Only better.

Yes, it's a different world on the other side of the campground where all the rich folks stay. Their lives are easy, their lounge chairs are comfortable, and even their lawn chairs cost $100. Their purebred dogs don't bark incessantly like the half-starved poodle-coyote mix breeds in the boondocking area... By the way, they are called "Pooyotes," and predominately feed on the purebred dogs that accidentally stray into the boondocking area.

Yeah, they've got it made in the shade over in the hookup area; life is effortless. Large screen TVs play outside while RVers sit in their hundred-dollar lawn chairs with a properly chilled Merlot in their hand while boondockers on the other side of the campground scan the hookup area with binoculars, trying to find someone with the news and weather playing outside. And I've heard those folks have so much money they run their camper's water heater 24/7, even when they have no intention of  taking a shower every Saturday like we boondocker's do.

Life is easy in the full hookup area. Rumors are those people don't even carry a toolbox; their RVs are so new,  everything always runs smoothly. Their pipes don't leak, their bearings don't squeak, and their futures aren't bleak... Like it is over in the boondocking area. And you won't find anybody in the hookup area wandering into the boondocking area trying to borrow some Gray Poupon mustard from anyone.

Yeah, life is nothing but easy-peasy lemon-squeezy in the full hookup area. Trucks don't leak oil, and no matter where they park their RVs, there always level.... I don't know how they do it, and I'll never find out because when a boondocker like me wanders through the hookup area, all I hear is doors slamming and purebred Dobermans straining on their chains to try and reach me.

But one day, I, too, might own a 50-foot trailer with a hot tub in the living room, a tennis court on the roof, and a home theater in the yard, towed by a matched pair of Corvettes. But till then, I'll keep hauling water and changing propane tanks every few hours because that's the life theboondork has chosen for himself, and that's the life he shall live till death do us part.

Effortless living at the Rockhound Resort in the full hookup section.

No challenges, excitement, or adventures here. the full hookup side of the campground is made for relaxing, Yoga posing, and staying in touch with your core of inner peace. The only challenge you will find here is to get to a fancy grocery store before your wine supply runs out. The only excitement is finding a local liquor store that has 12,000 varieties of wine. And the only adventure is making it back to the campground with more wine than your truck can legally carry.

Every kind of RV is welcome here.... As long as it's no more than six months old, and cost at least  $100,000.... And that includes tents.

A spacious and luxurious restroom and shower facility is next door to the hookup sites. Boondocker's can also use this building. But badly in need of a shower to wash off my protective crust, I had to hitch a ride with two long-haul truckers to make it all the way to the shower room without having to re-up.

Nothing but luxury at the full hookup side of the campground. And the view of course is magnificent and free, leaving these nature loving RVers plenty of time to contemplate 'world peace'', ''global climate confusion''  and  ''shaving the whales''.

It doesn't take a seasoned camper to see the potential of a wonderful weekend of  ''Glamping'' at this spacious campsite....Chardonnay anyone?

How could anyone have a care in the world relaxing in their class 'A'' motorhome with a snifter of Hennessy VSOP Brandy in their hand enjoying what luxury the full hookup RV life has to offer. The polo field, and 18 hole golf course, are but a brief aerobic stroll from this sumptuous campsite...And did I mention the four-star Burger King restaurant? Bon appétit !!

And as you pull out of your luxury campsite, rested and relaxed from a weekend of tennis and laying out by the pool, this is the sight that greets you as you leave the Park. A road to the bright future of nothing but full hookup campsites ahead, where cares and worries are a thing of the past as you while away the hours sitting in your hundred dollar lawn chair leisurely tossing empty champagne bottles at the line of ragged, nomadic, boondocker's as they fill there many water jugs and Jerry Cans at the nearest drainage ditch.
