On a quiet summer weekend in Denver folks are out cutting the grass
It's been really hot in Denver lately and it affects me more than normal because while I'm here I'm moving around and doing things.
I can't remember if I mentioned it before but I boondock in my daughter's driveway. I'm not hooked up or plugged in in any way, so of course I have no air conditioning. I live just like I live out in the desert, drinking water from my tank and harvesting sunshine to charge my batteries. I don't have to live like that, my daughter and her husband would gladly let me hook up but I don't want to run up their utility bills and since I live like this for most of the year I'm used to it so its no hardship for me.
I spend most of my time now doing odd jobs around the house and answering emails about the guns I have for sale. I've sold a couple, but I think people have their mind on other things during the summer and put off their gun buying until fall when hunting season sets off a gun buying frenzy.
I haven't put anything on eBay yet because I haven't gone to my storage room to retrieve anything since I got to Denver, because my storage rooms about a hundred miles away and it will probably be the middle of the month before I get there and bring a few boxes back where I will then start the arduous task of selling $10 items on eBay. The heartbreaking thing is it takes the same amount of time and effort to sell a $10 item on eBay as it does to sell a $1000 gun on GunBroker, that and laziness is why I've been putting off doing eBay.
some folks are working in the garden.
and some contractors are at home with their families instead of working on somebody else's house, it's a peaceful Sunday.
