I went into town today, I wanted to see if there are any spring breakers inundating the area yet, and I have to say I didn't see anyone young enough to be in college. Of course, that's not a very accurate way to judge college students because had I stayed long enough to graduate; I would've been well into my 50s.

Everybody I saw was either old or looked middle-aged and on vacation. I went to one of the popular tourist areas at the base of the London Bridge where there are restaurants, tourist shops, and things of that nature, and it wasn't crowded. The various boats that spring breakers like to rent were still docked right where they were the last time I was here.

So it looks like the kids haven't arrived yet, so us old geezers are still safe from the crowds, the noise, the parties, the fun, and the joy of being young and living life to its fullest before life puts you in a suit and tie, and throws you into a cubicle to rot until you're so old you don't know what freedom feels like anymore.

The buildings next to London Bridge try to pretend that their in London, but a dead give away is the skies are blue and cloud free, not so much in the real London.

Outdoor dining was popular in Lake Havasu long before the Bat flu came along.

I like taking pictures of people taking pictures. To me it shows their having fun... And I love to see families having fun. Those kids probably don't understand but their standing in what their cell phone replaced.

These are party boats. But they're not really boats, they float, but they're tied to the dock and don't go anywhere. They rent them out to the spring breakers that use them as a base of operations to dock their jet skis, store their beer, and attract the ladies..... I sat in one for over an hour, and didn't attract anything but flies.

There's plenty of jet skis and pontoon boats for rent on the river, but I'll bet its never enough when spring break kicks off.

It's easy to rent a bicycle on the boardwalk, but they're all electric bikes. I always thought people rode bicycles because it was good for you, not so much now I suppose. Given the choice, sooner or later, laziness always wins.... That's why give into it without a fight.
