It was a good Christmas, I had a great Christmas dinner, my daughter replaced my Christmas present that the post office destroyed, the weather was nice so my batteries got charged up so I'm able to use my 17 inch laptop again, and I'm boondocking, what more could I ask for?
I filled up one of my propane tanks yesterday at $2.75 a gallon which is pretty high but they fill it up right here at the campground so I paid a little extra for the convenience. It looks like I've got one more day where there's a possibility of rain in the forecast which I believe is Friday and then it will be sunny until I leave here. Whenever that is, because I still haven't made up my mind yet. There are still things that I want to do here but between the uncooperative weather, and the holiday crowds I haven't gotten out and done much. theboondork

Sounds like you have it all going your way. Happy New Year. I certainly hope 2020 has a lot less disturbances in it for me than 2019 did. Be Safe.

Thank you Barney, and Happy New Year to you too. I guess any year that you have to buy an outrageously expensive RV refrigerator is not a great year.

You are correct that they are lying about the Reflectix. It is a good product but it is a thermal radiation barrier not insulation. I am very familiar with Scamp. I have a friend here in the campground that lives in his. He really wants a Casita. A smaller rig I have looked at is the Minnie-Winne series. It looks pretty good .

I haven't seen any of the Minnie Winnie series trailers in person, but I've seen bunches of the Scamp "rolling egg" type fiberglass trailers everywhere I go. So I thought since you've simplified your lifestyle to the point your only possessions are a Mexican blanket and a small saucepan, you might be looking at the fiberglass trailers, because it doesn't get much more simplified than that.

I’m a snowbird in FL now, and saw an AF in the park and wondered if you were here, so checked in to the blog.....I spent my first snowbird winter at Pima FG, and being a horse person loved it there (except for the wind...). Great memories of the events and the sunsets, and the good walking, but the weather and accessibility to horses and trails is much better in FL....your writing always makes me laugh out loud,...thanks!

Thank you D, it's always great to hear from someone I've never heard from before especially if there is an opinion, or a question, or a story connected with the comment.
