Last nights sunset

As the sun came up this morning, it was both noisy and interesting, the range opened to a cacophony of gunfire at 7 AM, and when I stuck my head out the door to see if I was still in Phoenix... I move so often now I'm never sure, and the sky was filled with hot air balloons.

Amazingly enough, you would think that 50 or so guns going off a couple of hundred yards from me would be extremely annoying, but actually, after a while, I don't even hear them anymore. So now I think it's more noticeable when they stop shooting than when they're actually shooting.

Meanwhile, the hot air balloons are always interesting. I guess if you live in Phoenix all the time, you get used to seeing them, but for me, they're a never-ending opportunity for a picture.

I still haven't got my booster shot yet so I checked at the local Walmart and found out they carry both the Pfizer that I've taken before, and the Moderna, so all I need to do is make an appointment to go get it before I leave the Phoenix area.

I still don't know where I can hide out for Christmas. I sure am starting to miss those border towns I like to go to, such as Yuma, Ajo, Dateland, and several others. However, I'm still worried about running into MS 13 gangsters and drug smugglers coming through the desert, so I'm trying to stay away from those areas as much as possible. I can't believe America still has three more years of open borders; I don't know how much of this country will be left after three more years of this.

But there is a glimmer of hope, I heard today that Biden has reinstituted the Trump plan, and the illegals will have to stay in Mexico while there being checked out. Don't know if it's true or not but that's what I heard. I won't hold my breath waiting for any apologies from the current administration and the news media admitting they were wrong.

You are likely aware of the Wolf Creek campers 2K dry wt, aluminum frame. A lot have been sold so there may be some on the aftermarket. Most are in the northwest.

Yes I'm very aware of Wolf Creek campers Glenn. Their made by Northwood which is the company that makes my Arctic Fox fifth wheel. And my Arctic Fox is the best RV I've ever owned.

I've seen a few used ones for sale but they've all been pretty expensive, in fact I saw a five-year-old Wolf Creek slide in truck camper that cost more than a brand-new Palomino truck camper.

Now of course Palomino campers are at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to quality, my Palomino bronco is a good example of that, so I would much prefer something that was built a lot better like the Wolf Creek, but unless I win the lottery some corners will have to be cut.

Thanks for that suggestion Glenn that is the kind of truck camper I would like to have.... But then again, I probably don't actually need a camper that will last longer than I will.
