This is one of the prettier buildings in the old downtown Del Rio
I went to the post office this morning about 10 to pick up a General Delivery package that tracking said was delivered to the post office at 8 AM. And as luck would have it they couldn't find the package. So it looks like tomorrow morning I'll make another 8 mile drive to see if the whiz kids at the post office have located my package. You would think something with General Delivery on it would be treated kind of special after all how many of those do they see in a day?
It's been raining off and on all day, it rained really hard this morning while I was at the post office, where I was at for quite a while, as three different people searched in vain for my package. But there hasn't been a ray of sunshine all day so I got no battery charging today whatsoever. But the Sun is supposed to be out tomorrow, so I'll be fine.
Because of the weather, other than that trip to the Post Office I haven't done much of anything or gone anywhere. On days like this I usually end up playing on the computer, and eating too much. There are numerous useful things I could've been doing like cleaning the bathroom for instance. But since there's no one here but me, and I'm not very picky, I probably wouldn't bother cleaning the bathroom until there's an Azalea bush growing out of the toilet.
I think I mentioned before that there's a two-week stay limit here at the San Pedro boon docking area. But I kind of like it here, so I've been keeping a low profile, and at the moment I'm two or three days over my stay limit. I'm a baaad man. I don't really know when I want to leave, but I guess if I can squeeze another week or two out of my stay here I'll be ready to move on by then. Yesterday, even though it was a federal holiday, a government truck with a guy in it that looked like a Ranger drove through the area and that's the first Ranger looking person I've seen since I got here. A guy comes around every few days and picks up the trash but I've never seen anyone empty the Iron Ranger.
Miss Annie's straight up dance. I don't think young people dance straight up. There dancing looks more like a gymnastics class.
I don't know what it means, but it's definitely colorful.
This blackboard was hanging on an outside wall of a downtown business.
