mud and manure

Clicking the pics is like saying "Howdy" to the rodeo folks.

So how do you save your Stetson from the rain? You put a rain-cover on it of course.

It rained all night, not a hard rain like a Florida rain but just a steady sprinkle all night. So naturally, everything is pretty muddy in the boondocking area where I'm at. But it's not all mud; there's a healthy dose of horse manure mixed in with it, which gives it a kind of ranch flavor, which usually reeks of sweaty cowboys, and horse manure.

Normally I would use that time to do things to the Lance, but this rain and chilly weather is supposed to continue for the next day or two, and slopping around outside in the mud and manure couldn't be less appealing to me right now.

This is one of those somewhat rare times when the clouds are so thick that I'm not getting any charging from the solar panels. It is a good example of why you've got to have a big enough battery bank to keep your life normal, and comfortable, even when the weather is not cooperating for several days.

When the rodeo is spread all over, and his horse is out of town, cowboys need a mode of travel and a way of gettin round, and since all cowboys hate to walk, a new way must be found so the modern cowboy will go high-tech as a way to cover ground they'll come up with a  whole new way as funny as it sounds Cowboy boots are made for ridin, not pounding on the ground. So the cowboy he must take a chance which will be hit or miss, and ride a modern electric bike that makes him look like this.
