My best winter ever

Another day of feeling better; I still have a cough, but it's better than before, and I'm feeling pretty normal now, waiting only for a negative Covid test to get out and actually be normal once again.

No more 90s in my ten-day weather forecast anymore; it's mostly mid-70s now with overnight lows in the 40s and 50s. And those lows are enough for me to get out a blanket and get ready for some cool weather. And since I've been using 5-gallon propane tanks that fit in the Lance instead of my standard 10-gallon tanks that fit in the Arctic Fox, it looks like I'll be running to the hardware store for propane more often now that the weather is cooling off.

I liked having the 10-gallon tanks in the Arctic Fox because the two of them would last a month, so I wasn't always looking for a propane store. On the other hand, the 5-gallon tanks are much easier to handle, and there's no way I could lift a 10-gallon tank five feet off the ground to get it into the Lance's propane tank storage compartment.

I'm really looking forward to traveling in the Lance this winter. I enjoyed traveling in the Bronco last winter except for a few problems, such as putting the top up and down whenever I went to the store and the difficulty of keeping it warm inside because it was half tent. But this winter, the Lance has solved those problems while maintaining most of the mobility that the Bronco gave me, so I think this should be my freest, most comfortable, best winter ever.... And as long as I maintain that attitude, no matter what happens, it will be my best winter ever.
