I got back to my Boondocking site from Colorado Springs just after lunch and just in time to go through a pretty strong rain and hail storm. The hail was only about half inch in diameter but it sure sounded like bowling balls hitting the roof of the Arctic Fox.
I spent last night at the Days Inn in Colorado Springs after dropping off my truck at "Clean Diesel Specialists" [ CDS ] to have my diesel particulate filter [DPF ] cleaned. I had planned on walking over to the mall and maybe seeing a movie but after a dinner at Kentucky fried chicken [ KFC ] I turned on the television [ TV ] in my room to see what had been going on in the world and got caught up in the police shootings in Dallas Texas thing and ended up watching that until about 11:30 that night. What a tragedy! I wouldn't blame the police if every one of them went on strike until the so-called "leaders" of this country got up off of their knees and started acting like leaders instead of wimpy, politically correct, spineless, wishy-washy, fools.

If you have a diesel truck sooner or later the DPF will have to be cleaned and Clean Diesel Specialists is the place to go to have that done. CDS is a family-owned and run business. Which means that they go out of their way to keep their customers happy and will treat you like family to make sure you stay that way.
Tom Jr. the company owner is there every day working right alongside everyone else and as a business owner myself I can tell you that having a hands-on owner is a good sign that things will be done right. and as busy as he was, Tom Jr. was the one that took me to my motel and picked me up the next morning. And that's the way you treat a customer!
