My new home in Quartzsite. I was going to say it was a typical cloudless day in the desert, but then I looked a little closer.
While eating a banana for breakfast this morning I decided that this was the day I would go to Quartzsite. So after an uneventful hour and 1/2 drive I pulled into the Dome Rock boondocking area just west of downtown "Q", faced the Arctic Fox North, put out the slide and started absorbing the Quartzsite ambience.
I didn't unhook from the Arctic Fox just yet. It's kind of a habit of mine that unless I'm 100% sure I'm in love with my current location, I stay hooked up just in case I want to find a new spot tomorrow. I attribute this odd quirk to my bold indecisiveness, and my inherent laziness that prevents me from changing.
this is my old neighborhood at Box Wash. It seems like only yesterday I was walking around in the desert there..... Wait a minute it was yesterday.
I liked these pretty clouds at Box Wash the other day. The desert doesn't often get fluffy cumulus clouds.
